Encouraging News!
Dear friends and prayer partners,
I'm a bit overwhelmed right now, in a good way. I went to the doctor, my new surgeon, this afternoon. He asked me, "Is this the latest biopsy slides that you have?" (I had brought the slides from Jamaica). I said, "yes. They were done in October" He said, what's the problem? I took your slides to South Miami Hospital - one of our finest hospitals - had the two best radiologists look at them and they said, "there's hardly anything there! This man does not need surgery!" He said to me, "if I were you, I would not do surgery. I would not do radiation. I wouldn't do anything!" So he told me he wants me to do an MRI of the prostate and some blood work in the next few days and depending on what it says, he might do another biopsy. But for now he says, "don't look so glum! Get on with your life." What a God!!! 4 weeks ago, 2 days before surgery to remove my prostate God delivered me from a doctor who didn't even care to look at my biopsy slides and whose office, in my mind, had questionable financial and ethical practices. Now I'm 180 degrees in the opposite direction. Who but God could do such an amazing thing? No wonder 3 weeks ago God led me to Psalm 34, "I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth...I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all of my fears!" (verses 1 and 4). Let's praise the Lord together and let's pray for complete and CERTAIN healing in Jesus name. Amen!! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! What a God!!!
Thanks for your constant prayers on my behalf! Don't stop praying now. Pray and praise!!! They go hand in hand! The LORD our GOD is awesome in ALL His ways and works things out according to His purpose and glory and for our good!
Coram Deo!
Always in God's grip!
